Hey look on the bright side, Davenport ends up with a pretty decent draft pick.

One of the best weeks we could have asked for. Swept Hartford in three games in Hartford, then took three of four in Pawtucket.

Unfortunately, Hartford swept a four-game series at Pittsburgh, and we remain a game back.

Impressive 5-2 week. Listening to the Denver month by month theory, I come rely expected to go 1-5. Ended up with the IL POM and ROM which is always nice to see heading down. stretch

If you got the right guys hot at the right time, it won't affect your record. My team likes to taken offensive breaks when the pitching is rolling and vice versa. That's a .500 season.

Thank you for being Syracuse. I hate you.

Rex Morgan woke up. I still make that trade right this moment.

Funny, I thought it would be my offense that needed help. Instead it's the pitching. It's always the pitching.

I tried to send you pitching on countless occasions. If you're pitching Morgan instead of Indy, you're in the driver's seat.

I disagree. Morgan alone wouldn't have solved the issue. It's not Lindsey, Fitz and Bollati.

If I trade for Morgan, I either don't have the money or the pieces to have Lindsey or Bollati on my roster, and I surely don't have enough to add a bat like Rex Morgan.

Right now, Indy's rotation is 5 deep. Dallas is 4 deep but also has Dimmick. My rotation is 4 deep. I'm on the short end of it. Morgan would have made me three deep. I would have been worse off and that's why I didn't make the trade.

The team simply still has holes to fill. It takes time when those holes were giant deep. Now it's about piecing more.

Well, at least you have a lot of picks and pieces at your disposal to fill those remaining holes.

2-5 this week. Any week we win a game is a moral victory now.

It's called Free Agency where the players are more talented and wiser than the randomness of the draft.

I'll take experience and know how over young kids that are trying to figure it out and the hope that one breaks through.

LOL! This is funny because DEN has traded away so many picks and has no farm system! Ha Ha! [/Fouad]

Makes perfect sense if you're cool with mediocrity.
