That was a good persona. Maybe I'll make it my stretch run persona again. I promise it won't be as bad as my British accent persona.

They fit the prototype, but it's also important to remember that some guys don't perform to their ratings so you just have to experiment and hope it works out.

Do they really have plus fastballs and a plus secondary pitch? That's important to me. If the guy's pitch ratings are not above 6, he's not worth giving a chance as a two-pitch assassin.

I think this is the same that has worked for guys like Dimmick and Alex Martinez. Let's face it: a third pitch is nice, but if it's a 3 or lower, it's pretty much worthless. The guy needs at least two pitches a 6 and up.

And they need to actually be a 6 and up. If they aren't (maybe a bad scout or poor OSA guess), then I think he gets shelled.

There are other factors I look for personally (and Mens, being one of my own, actually doesn't even fit the full profile - but I took a chance guessing he might have been improperly scouted), but the most obvious I'm willing to share is that two-pitch 6 rating.

And I know it's easy to look at Mens and say his last two starts show it's catching up to him. I disagree. He gave up 5 and 6 runs in his last two starts. 4 of those 5 were in the 7th inning when he had thrown 100 pitches in one start, and 3 of the 6 in the other start were in the 8th inning after throwing 100 pitches. I blame my manager more than him.

When Fouts was in A ball he averaged over 7 inn a start with a 1.73 ERA so I think it maybe something to look at. I do think it might do well to wait until they kinda max out their growth before starting them in the BLB.

I look at this upcoming week as a 5-2 week or it's a failure. I will not accept more than 2 losses. Indy is too young to think it has a chance. Screw them trying to make a team when Denver is ready to rise again.

Dallas can go suck my right fist knuckles while I push my knee up into his naval cavity. His last two months are utter crap for a team that hits just about as well as my team. My rotation is better than his and because of two guys he's in this damn race. F that crap.

            Syracuse...well, maybe next year.

This is Denver's division, you punks. Denver's! I'm taking back what's mine.
Aww shucks, we're just happy to be here, man!

Tillmao Laenarts was going to be my two pitch experiment until he damaged his elbow. He was going to be AWESOME.
