6-1 week to get back to .500 and pull us one game back of Hartford for the division.
Despite the fairly lousy record, I do think we can win the DL. Luck hasn't really been on our side, as we're five games below our Pythagorean record of 54-44 and are only 18-20 in one-run games.
Watkins had a nice first week in Maine, hitting .423 with a 1.059 OPS.
Sinclair's continued his awful year, but I'm optimistic that he'll be able to turn it around, especially as a DH.
Still waiting for Victor Gonzalez's bat to arrive in Maine. I wasn't expecting him to continue hitting like he was in Pawtucket, but I was counting on more than a below-average bat.
On another note, is there another player in the BLB over the last few years who has consistently outperformed his ratings more than All-Star second baseman Tristan Romarigues?
Looks like the torn labrum has snuffed out another promising carreer in Windy City. Farewell Travis Putnam, career over before you can even legally drink alchohol.

Typical Philly post trade malaise. Disappointed with the Batavia series results (VIR series was to be expected). Thankfully when you trade for a 24 year old 3B you're not focused on the now, but more the future, especially considering this season has been over for us for a while. Still, we're really starting to like the look of our team for the foreseeable future.
I'd consider moving pretty much anyone on our roster for younger players. Our time as an elite team has come and gone. We'll battle for the division, but we can move some pieces and probably be right there.
If you're an up and comer this season, my vets are playoff tested. Especially RaGo and the bullpen.

Needed a few cupcake games. Sorry, Matt and Jake. Just telling it like it is.
Next week it's Indy and Dallas. Huge week for us. 5 GB of Indianapolis. Extremely frustrating because we would be up one game if Pyth Rec mattered most. It's the only reason I still have faith in this roster catching the Clowns.

Another big week for LAD. Evil looks to be settling down at the closer position. I probably pissed him off trading for Beniquez and giving his job away. We weren't world beaters, but we keep winning! That's all I ask of the kids.
By the way, two trades I would want back are for guys on my roster. Carmen is terrible and Scott couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag.
