Partied to much the night before the game. Typical Playboy.

      Turcotte didn't play either.

If I change the starters, it jacks the entire All-Star Game I have to physically manage it.

I don't see it as Starters and Bench (though we say it). It's voted in or picked. Game doesn't differentiate. Everyone gets the same bump.

I'm not mad with Clay, just upset how it played out.

Whatever, I guess it doesn't matter.
It has been like this for many seasons. I get it, though. It's frustrating for me to see Brown and Goodman only get one at-bat.

But I remember Clay mentioning what he just posted above me. And if he has to manage it then he has to make future changes every inning so all players get a chance to play. I don't expect Clay to go through that.

3-0 sweep of Wilmington to avenge the losses earlier in the season.

Castre pitched a solid 8 innings in his first outing as a Bulldog. Looks like I have no chance of catching California so I'll just have hope we can avoid anymore injuries and hold on to the wildcard in the 2nd half of the season.

Nah. My hitters just came up big.

I think Robby Aten - fresh off a ligament injury - just had that "Don't you love when you slow play your HS players and then the TJ Knudson on you" moment. Last 5 starts:

32.2 IP, 2 ER, 32K, 6 BB. I'll follow Clay's TJ lead and promote him.
