I know Funclown hates us and Maine, but I wouldn't sleep on either of us for that WC. Maine always picks it up once his injuries start to clear.

And because his team has been dismantled in a Funclownesque rebuilding plan and Pitt is rebuilding, that automatically means Z and I suck too.

I see you as the division leader and Maine is 7 games back.

Not that Maine can't catch up. I know he will make a run at it, but New Orleans is the leader and if he doesn't slow down, I don't think even Maine could catch him.

Side note: Disgusting stat of the day.

Finley Kinsey has 7 hits with New Orleans. EACH is an extra base hit. 4 doubles. 1 triple. 2 home runs. .792 SLG. This was your disgusting stat of the day.

So I gotta hope the Clowns and their young players crumble under the September pressure and Jerry Morgan doesn't pitch every 3rd day.

I, of course, also need to continue winning baseball games. That's not a given.

The odd thing about that stat is that he only had 13 XBH in his previous 186 AB for Washington this season. So I don't exactly expect this power surge to last.
