I appreciate the votes for Ole Mens. He definitely deserves serious consideration for the ASG, but he's stealing relief pitcher votes because he's on the ballot as a reliever.

He's a starter now and I think his VORP is eclipsing deserving men simply because he's thrown many more innings than them.

But thank you for recognizing his talent.

Once again Durham doesn't make a ballot because of a 1st half injury. Mac Aaron doesn't qualify either because of only 30 IP, despite a 1.50 ERA.

What's was the minimum for both?

                          Pitt- take a peak at:

RF Hugh Gentry -(.305/.394/.448) 6th in DL AVG and 3rd in OBP in DL.

CL Travis Oleslager- 5th in saves (14) and all have come in the last 2 months (and we are 5-19 in June so 11 of his saves were in a single month).

Just voted. DL pitchers much easier than IL pitchers. IL hitters much easier than DL hitters.

Good to see Von Haynes on track to make his 8th consecutive ASG. One of the game's greats.

For hitters, I'm assuming it's the same qualifications for batting average. Likely needs 3.1 PA per team game.

                              Relief pitchers, not sure.
