Will the real Javelinas please stand up?! We're playing .500 ball by alternating 1 - 6 and 6 - 1 weeks; and I'm all out of antacid.

OF prospect Tyler Tamany gets the dreaded "Diagnosis Pending". Can't wait to see this...

      Positives

Trujillo - IL player of the week.

Baker - Finished his first tour of duty in the BLB with a 3.05 ERA over three starts.

      Turcotte - Continues to rake.

      Negatives

3-4 - Bad week for the Kodiaks. On top of having a losing week, I lost three games to Baltimore who went 6-1.

Kane - Terrible start this week. Has been the weak link this year in the rotation.

      On-Deck

Six games at home this week as we welcome the DL Pittsburgh Millers and Pawtucket Patriots.

            I didn't get a chance to recap.

            I'll just point out that:
Chuck Lindsey was better than your pitcher in May.
            K. Lim is the best closer in the league this season.
Rex Morgan really likes Denver - and hopefully he likes us enough in future negotiations.
Hector Gonzalez looks down at Von Haynes.
You could have had LMR, but instead Delandis is enjoying his power.
I'm excited to actually have a winning record this late into the season.
Oh, and Marv Goodman was signed for $1 MM.

More things that make me feel like I'm glorious or at least have a capable team for once in the past 7 seasons.

Currently we are tied for most complete games in the DL with 5.

Why that matters? Well, we haven't really had guys that were capable of doing so.

The most complete games we've had as a team in the dreaded 90s is 6 in 1998. Oh, and that's because we acquired Fitzgerald and promoted Clark who each had 3.

So, yeah, seeing Lindsey go back-to-back complete games deserves a bit of elation. It's saving the bullpen so they are more effective when needed.

I didn't look at his pitch totals, but I'd suggest putting him on a pitch count.

106 and 112. Not bad, in my opinion. He stayed on to finish those games because he didn't walk anyone and it wasn't a save situation. I'd be worried if he was out there throwing 125+ pitches on back-to-back starts.
