Gene Dixon suffered a hamstring injury on April 24 (only days after suffering from a cold). He suffered a set back from the 4-week injury on May 9 saying he would miss another two weeks.
Injury is determined before story is assigned. Not a bad algorithm... just an incomplete one.
Oh, yeah, I know it's just complicated. Probably can't expect OOTP to look at all of those things before developing a story.
Would be nice if it did.
I just chalk it up to something weird.
I see it this way: Dixon stayed back to get into game shape and hurt himself. He was at the practice facility. I made sure to bring that up and also mention that the team was in Indianapolis.
The only majorly awkward part is the manager saying he will keep him out of games as a precaution. He was already not playing because of injury.
You know who is awful? Dana Scott. Just a real scumbag of a human being.
I say that because he is a dirty thief and a dirty liar. He stole money from Denver, Batavia, and me in the last two years, and he's somehow convinced OSA and my scout that he is actually good. Liars.
So... I just want to go on the record and say that Dana Scott is the worst human in the history of the BLB.
