I'm fine with relievers continuing to be undervalued. Makes them easy to acquire, via draft and via trade.

    • Maybe what I SHOULD do is draft nothing but shut-down arms and pitch them two innings at a time.

I've tested this. It never goes well. Your DL gets pretty busy.

Yeah, any time you think about doing something stupid, stop. Then ask Carlos how it worked out, because he's most likely tried it already, and it failed.

                  • We took Sandy San Martin with our first pick in this draft.

He, uh, he does things with the ball.

                    • Decided to draft a guy with no future... if only because he seems like a natural born manager. Intelligent, great work ethic, a leader... I'll let him rotate around the minor leagues for the next 5-10 years and I'll hope to see him in the manager's spot a couple seasons after that.

Pffft... Middle infielders the next two picks. I now have 5 utility wannabes in 8 rounds.

                            • For what it's worth I was deciding between Ian Lowe or Dave Margiotta.

And yeah, I know I could just be screwing with Jake, but you don't have to pretend when it's true.

It's like life gives me opportunity to mess with him.
