On a scale of 1-10, your level of desperation to trade this pick is around a 12, isn't it. I can feel it.

No. The #2 and #3 players on my board are sitting right here. My farm system just has grown a little thin. If I can add more picks (the right picks) it's the right move.

This draft is not going anything like I expected... And I immediately regret trading up.

I think people can sit on Pitching... there's so much more here if that's what you're after....

I have about a 3:1 ratio of Top 100 talent (pitching to hitting).

People who want bats need to get up soon.

I thought there were four top pitchers- really, 3 with a close 4th- and I was sure they'd be gone at 6. Three are... But who knows if brad would have gone the same way had I not moved.

I've got 20 Top 100 level Pitchers in this class. 9 or 10 of which I'd call Top 50 talent. I see about 7 hitters... and only 3 are Top 50 types.

Your assesment on hitter sounds about right, but are you saying you're seeing 27 players who will debut in the top 100 or "future" meaning at some pt in they're careers?

If its debuting, can I borrow your scout??? My guys thinks we have 12-15 maybe and the rest are tools.

It's not really my scout. It's OSA (and my scout). There are kind of tells by position who is going to debut. That doesn't mean they'll be anything... but Top 100 is significant trade value.

                            Pick is in.

Danny Salcedo is the top Hitter in the draft. Not sure where he'll end up playing in the BLB. But, he has a fantastic eye, man-sized power and above average contact.

Plus, he went to school at Virginia.

Salcedo was easily our top hitter as well. Our top pitcher still remains.
