That's my thought as well. There may be a little talent to grab into about the mid-late second.

Its not thats is horrible. Just seems the true "impact" player or lack thereof is a bit thin. I ended up with two first(one by trade) from last season who may end up solid, but stars doubtful.

What I mean are its about that many guys who should end up being good to solid right off the bat. After that its going to be a little work.

Added Dallas (A) sandwich pick for Helmrich signing.

With the draft starting tomorrow, this is the last Sandwich pick that will be added.

Can it start un-timed like the OSFL draft?

Utility got all screwed up when I added that pick in the sandwich round. I'll fix in the AM. Thanks a lot Jim.

First off I want to apologize to many teams that contacted me about this pick. I was interested in moving the pick. Unfortunately when I wrote that I wasnt thinking that Monday is my busiest day with classes and teachin from 8am till now at 10. I havent even got to look at the sim yet today. So again sorry to the guys (you know who you are) who tried to make this work. With that I will announce pick 1.3.

With the 3rd pick in the 1999 BLB Amatuer Draft the Pittsburg Millers select:

                              RF Travis Wallis

I had four guys here who I would have been happy to have. Each had a one thing I wanst sold on which was why I was thinking about dealing the pick. With my last 4 first round picks I have taken pitchers so I felt it was time to get a decent bat in the organization.

Three might be a little high for Wallis but in the end I got the number 1 pitcher and hitter on my board so I'm happy. I also have picks 17,25,39 and 43 so I may be looking to package picks to move back up at some point in this draft.

                              Your up Bradley!!!
