First off I want to apologize to many teams that contacted me about this pick. I was interested in moving the pick. Unfortunately when I wrote that I wasnt thinking that Monday is my busiest day with classes and teachin from 8am till now at 10. I havent even got to look at the sim yet today. So again sorry to the guys (you know who you are) who tried to make this work. With that I will announce pick 1.3.
With the 3rd pick in the 1999 BLB Amatuer Draft the Pittsburg Millers select:
RF Travis Wallis
I had four guys here who I would have been happy to have. Each had a one thing I wanst sold on which was why I was thinking about dealing the pick. With my last 4 first round picks I have taken pitchers so I felt it was time to get a decent bat in the organization.
Three might be a little high for Wallis but in the end I got the number 1 pitcher and hitter on my board so I'm happy. I also have picks 17,25,39 and 43 so I may be looking to package picks to move back up at some point in this draft.
Your up Bradley!!!
