You're one of the teams who needs to tend to the minors. 8 in Single A is going to cause issues.

          Pawtucket 3-3.

Its either strikeout or homerun with this bunch.

Also our marketing team has decided "Still the one" will be our 1999 Theme Song. Take that Windy City!!!!!

Kid needs to be coached up.

How does he not only miss Maeda with the first pitch, but missed so badly it was a called strike.

              Heber - 6'3" 250
              Maeda - 6'0" - 202

Thankfully, Maeda knows 4 different types of Kung Fu and kicked his ass pretty easily. His name IS Jamie after all.

                Painfully small sample size....

But the Top 3 INT FA's all looked good in Week 1.

2-4. I don't expect Lindsey and Bollati to get trucked over like that on a consistent basis. Unfortunate because we scored 5 and 4 runs in those games while giving up 5 and 6 runs respectively (5 each from the prized acquisitions).

I expect to win our share of 1-run games because I think (or know) that my bullpen is rock solid with more than capable kids waiting in the wings to replace anyone that might get injured. Plus the offense isn't necessarily going to do anything splendid. And right on queue we are 2-1 in 1-run games.

Just those Lindsey and Bollati starts that bother me. Not pleased to see two veteran arms that have done nothing but win in this league give me that performance in their first Denver starts. At least Fitzgerald bested Curtis. Thank goodness for that.

Hernandez: 8IP, 4H, 1ER, 11K, 108PI in his debut. He came back to earth a bit in his second start (6IP, 2ER, 5K) but I am pleased.

I hope Garcia turns it around. He had a sputtering finish and a rough spring and was saddled with out lone loss this sim. Hopefully the #5 slot gives him some confident match-ups.

And it must suck to be Morgantown. a 3-3 sim and still 2 back of everyone in the division! 5-1's all around!

You have to have enough players to field a team. You have 8 in Single A right now.
