Philly does not expect to be in the Co-Commish cup race this year. It's possible, but we plan on being more mediocre than awful this year.

I predict that the first ever Shavermetrics Podcast (being recorded tomorrow) will be greeted with the most vitriol in league history - likely more because of the hosts than the content (though there are some controversial numbers).

I predict Clay will get his alcohol.

Dave said he would pour it out on his driveway... so he won't.

Doesn't that mean it goes to the runner up?

I expect myself to accidently put an all-star on waivers at least once this season.

That's the glass half empty way of looking at it.

The Optimist would say "winner of the #1 pick"!!!

We expect Fitzgerald, Lindsey and Bollati to suffer 6+ month injuries.

Cy Gray will shatter his knee and no longer be able to field or hit by 2000.

Sinclair will beat his wife and be suspended by my owner during a key stretch of our early April collapse.

Luis Miguel Rodriguez will continue to be angry.

Ole Mens will have joined a mariachi band and retire from baseball despite starting off the season with 14 straight hitless innings.

Kel Brown will attempt to sacrifice a runner from 2nd with two outs in a 2-2 game in what will be the most important game of Denver's season in early October - the battle for last place and a #1 pick that was traded away for a pitcher that suffered a SEI in August.

Or we will be better than you think.

Yes, but you've got alot of company.

So you got that going for you...which is nice.

I find it amusing that the StatsLab Preview finds Juan Jose Garcia and his 5.51 ERA a key departure for Denver.

                            Also Shawn Gates? LOL.
