Philly has a flare in one hand and a jug of kerosene in the other. We may very well be the leagues INTL FA martyrs.

Based on the last sim, I think that honor may go to Syracuse. But I'm enjoying the action from the sidelines. I will say though, that if that guy's ratings are what my scout thinks they are, he's worth whatever he's asking.

Agreed. He could be the arm that displaces RJ Curtis in three years.

I like the risk. It's like the real world- the Yankees gambled on Irabu, the Red Sox gambled on Dice-K, the Dodgers gambled on Nomo, the Rangers on Darvish, etc.. I like the international element in this game.

Anibal Roman heads to Carolina in FA. Great utility bat for us over the years.

Takes 5 rings south with him.

Is the buyout clause for the player or for the team?

The team. You can pay the player that amount to release the player.
