Speaking of Maeda... just had his 33rd birthday. As a member of the world famous 16 year olds draft of 1982... this will be Maeda's 17th season in my organization.

New scout for the first time since 1996, for former Washington Bat, Bobby Minnich.

Minnich was a LHRP for the Bats for 1978 and 1979 and was then (I believe) traded to Virginia in '79, retired a season later. Formerly the scout for New Orleans, excellent at Majors and legendary at Minors and Amateurs. An upgrade over Dave Hamilton, who was only decent (now good?) at scouting Majors.

Taking a few gambles in arbitration.....could get ugly.
