      If I cut someone now who has multiple years left on his contract, do those player expenses get applied to 1998 or 1999 budget?

        I believe with new budget out and the "start" of the offseason, its applied to your 99 budget.

        By all means though you should try to cut the person and see how it plays out before you export.
