New Orleans, LA -- Rumors abound that Dukes owner Dave Roberts will take the unprecedented step of requesting that the 1998 BLB Championship be conducted live via webcam to ensure that no re-simming of results is conducted. Roberts has reportedly offered Skype, Glance and Live Meeting to the league office as potential ways to ensure that the results are, in his words, "on the level." More on this story as it develops.

New Orleans, LA -- Dukes owner Dave Roberts now admits that his webcam request to the league office, made earlier today, was a ploy to cause BLB commissioner Clay Shaver to quit the league prior to the BLB Championship taking place. Roberts said, "It was worth a shot. He has come really close to quitting before and we thought that our best chance of taking this series."
