Clinched and playing well. Not sure we rest too much. Need to hold on to home field.

Looks like you play about the same road versus home. Worry about those dam injuries!

We're too banged up now. Was a nice little run though.

Doesn't matter, injuries happen no matter what in Hartford. Someone will trip in the dugout. Especially if they're a star player.

Apparently the injury bug finds the warm sands of Los Lunas, New Mexico to be very hospitable. We got killed this sim: SP, MR (Setup), CF. If we manage to hang onto a playoff spot we could very well have another early exit. That would royally suck after leading the division for a good chunk (most?) of the season. Suddenly New Orleans and Los Angeles are teeming with life.

The Virginia Colonials would like to officially endorse the Los Alamos Bandits to win the Bock Division. I know, not always a great idea to wish for an opponent, but as the all but locked in #2 seed in the IL, we would like to see the Bandits in Round 1. Simply a better match-up for us then the Tobs (though we did sweep the Tobs this week - but that was without Hamilton).

                Go Bandits!!!

Thanks for the sweep on the field and the bump off the field but I don't think we have it in us. We got hot too early and my starting pitching is, how do you say it, finding it's level.

I am typically strong against DAV and WC however so who knows.

Pancho Herrera goes for his 5th IL Pitching Triple Crown in SIM 26. He currently leads the league in K's and ERA and is tied for 1st in Wins. He'll start once this week. Sanchez (BAL) who also has 18 W's - could go twice, but my assumption is Prez will sit him down after one start.

So... in a nutshell... Ironfist controls his own destiny. Win - and he takes it down.

                    ***

                    Meanwhile... in the DL....

RJ Curtis has a chance to match Pancho's accomplishment, but he has work to do....

                    17 wins - The leader has 18
                    218 K's - Leads the DL by 26 (should be a lock)
1.78 ERA - Trails Pat Dimmick by 0.02

Dimmick SHOULD throw once this week... however... Dallas could sit him down since they've already locked in their playoff fate.

                    Something to watch!

We're going to keep him fresh, so only one go this week. This Curtis/Dimmick matchup is serious. Their performances in the DL are pretty darn impressive.
