4-3, we gained a game on our division lead I believe. Eron Deleon still appears to be taking this year off, but we somehow score runs anyway with our lineup of castoffs and borderline talents. Somehow we still scored 41 runs despite hitting .240 as a team. Al Hamilton is still good, and Jim Newlin has found his stroke a little bit lately.

On the pitching front, we're not bad, near the top of the IL in most categories. We've got some quality arms, but no one good enough to not get lit up from time to time. Manny Mendez looks to be ready to come back after 2 weeks in AAA on rehab, and Jonathan Burns strikes out almost half of the batters he faces, so I could use to trade a pitcher or two from my BLB squad. I'd like to keep Aparicio and Vazquez, but if someone is interested in one of the other 4 in my rotation, let me know.

Calendar changes and we're back to our winning ways in division with a 5-2 week. Take both at Pawtucket, split Maine, and 2-3 from Pitt to climb back to 1st place. Still playing a lot of 1 run games.

Batavia castoff Wes Hawkins goes .500/.542/.682 to push his stats to .344/.390/.426 and start pushing towards a possible allstar game appearance at 3B at 31.

Castor, Ednams, Corfield and Carbajal have all slowly limped over the Mendoza Line. All six starters put in quality work, and Brad Hayes is starting to work things out on his rehab stint.

Hopefully we can survive our IL trip to Philly and Batavia and string together a strong June.

True story. Denver's had 3 series on the road each month.

        3.

20 road games all season so far. And we're 10-10 on the road.

My team is not built for home.

We've only played 20 home games so far. #WaterLevel

No complaints here. Well, I wish my Catchers and DH could get a hit now and then. But otherwise, I'm almost as happy as my team owner.

... Wait... Do you hear something? Is that?... I hear someone laughing... and I think it's coming from that cloud...
