Solid week. Atop the Ale, despite getting no-hit by Dimmick.

Also, Juan Rivera is on waivers. My scout still has him 6/5/4/5/5 with good defense. He's affordable and could use a change of scenery.

We continue to tread water behind the Los twins in the league's best division.

Except for Von Haynes, we are legitimately awful at everything related to offense except hitting home runs. League-worst .305 team OBP, league-best 55 HR.

Pawtucket 4-2 against two top teams in the DL (LL & LA)

Abbot back from injury had a very good week and seemed to spark the rest of the offense.

In the minors, Lowell can't be stopped and we debuted two top 100 prospects after Dedrik dropped off.

Overall, nice stalking position at the moment.

We seem to be lost at home. Terrible sim for our pitchers. SP and BP were lit up by just about everyone. The bats were nice. Simmons and Morris hit extremely well. Marve Barnes finally got a hit! Plenty of time to turn this home record around.

Pitching much better. Hitting still awful by our standards. Back to a winning sim on the road, only 1 back of Maine and one solid sim from the top of the DL. Hopefully we heat up for late summer instead of now. Haut looked good too.

                        4-2 week.

We are awful at home. Actually, want more road games.

Swept Pittsburgh and then lost 2 of 3 to New Orleans including a 2-1 game that is just frustrating to see happen.

Offense coming around in bits. Dani Rodriguez is becoming a real legit pick up. No home runs, but he continues to drive in runs. Marv Goodman also a nice cheap pick up that is driving in runs for my squad. Cy Gray is looking like the bat I hoped he'd become.

The bullpen found its place again with Olivo in the rotation. Juan Jose Gonzalez is going to miss two weeks, but has still only surrendered one run on a solo shot. Mens and Stewart help make up the rest of the strong back end. Just waiting for Alejandro Rodriguez to straighten himself out.

Thought about leaving Tyler Gerard in AAA for one more week. Sure glad I decided it was time. He threw 7 shutout innings in his return from major injury. Soto-Olivo-Gerard is a nice Top Three for us. All three were in the Top 20 in the beginning of the year and I'm sure they aren't too far off from returning once Gerard gets more innings and Soto gets more run support.

I don't expect Lim will always be this strong, but I do believe he will pitch close to it. Gonna extend him. We believe in Denver.

I'll give you a 2nd and a 4th for him. I think he might like the Denver air.

Former first round Pick Enrique Ferreira(1.10) <== (American ) went 6 for 6 in a game this past week. I was getting worried he was following Linseman(drafted 1.3) in the path of wasted first rounders. (In my defense Linseman is a Canuck, same as my owner) (Can I use that excuse for such a high wasted pick?)

Along the same track Shane Galluhue is trying to let me think he is getting close to the BLB. I still think he will bust, but I really don't know why.

I am still having great difficulty judging talent. I don't know why so many good players struggle early on and then develop and some hit the cover off the ball in the minors and are bums.

Linesman started out killing the ball , was loved by all. Woke up one day and forget everything he had learned. Yes, I can see him not being able to handle breaking stuff, etc. but such an epic fail.
