        3-3

Highlight of the week for us was the underdog Jimmy Neuharth pitching 10 innings for a 1-0 win over Cali. He is a horse and handling the #1 spot in the rotation just fine.

1-5. Bunch of close ones to Dallas, which is to be expected with our injury situation at the moment. I've got two AA guys starting in the OF until Corfield and Stewart get back. We just couldn't hit at all.

Didn't expect to see RaGo get shelled like that. Sanford was due to get beat up a little.

            Pawtucket 2-4. See Hartford.

Sometimes the ball just bounces the wrong way.

Also, my manager is rebelling and won't play the kids (Dedrik and Fei-Long) I brought up from AAA. Never dealt with this before.

Curtis and Martinez are really forming a nice 1-2 punch for us this season.

....but everyone looks good against the Pilsner.

3-3. Hurts to beat Hartford 2 of 3 but lose 2 of 3 to Pawtucket. World doesn't make sense sometimes.

Zander Walters is looking like a AA pitcher out there.

The offense is finally showing up (in May, as I expected). And we just signed Dani Rodriguez to what I consider a very friendly contract. I imagine he'll boost us some more.

Somehow a guy who has played in half our team games leads the team in home runs and a 3B hitting .212 leads in RBI.

We'll be dead in the water against lefties, but should continue to improve against right handed pitching.

Anxiously awaiting the return of Tyler Gerard. He's currently rehabbing in AAA and looking downright horrible.

I think our staff would challenge those early Wildfire teams for worst pitching staff of all time.

5-1 with a team 1.31 ERA for the week.

                      No complaints here.

I got an email today from the league that I am receiving a comp pick for Denver signing Dani Rod, which will be a 2nd round draft pick and a pick in the supplemental 1st round.

Does this count for the '99 draft?

If it does, you wouldn't get my pick. You'd just get the supplemental pick.

                              Sure.

                              I added it.
