With a steal like that... I'm sure you'll get a ton of PMs.

Well, it'd be helpful for a perennial winner looking for a pick. But I don't think you'd know much about that.

Why do some of the players in the draft have a history in our minors?

Any of the international guys... they all have a detailed history with draft position, injuries, etc.

I'd say it's because their player ID is the same as a retired minor leaguer and the game doesn't do a good job of handling that.

Speaking of the draft, thinking about proposing a rule change where playoff teams automatically have the last 8 picks. Think that's just how it should be.
who made the playoffs and isnt picking in the last eight?

Untimed, like the OSFL. Starts for real tomorrow morning.

Santana is raw and will take a few years to reach the show but he's a phenomenal talent according to my scouts. He's easily the best position player in the draft for me. Potential wise, there's no catcher in the league that compares to him. It's lofty, but my scout compares his potential to that of Sergio Lumar. I know its a stretch to compare a 17 year old to a Hall of Famer but I think this guy could be that good. He's also an elite defensive catcher as well which doesn't hurt.
This is who I struggled with to take. Being so young I was scared. But if he lives up to his potential he'll be a true stud...in 2006.

4 hours between picks? Sorry, as Jistic proclaimed I don't draft in the first round very often.
