Just putting it out there, I'm interested in moving up from #20.

My scout is really in love with SP & IF in this draft. Has 25 players first round worthy.

Way better POT then last years draft. Falls off pretty bad around the top 60.

Pretty normal, maybe slightly above due to rare IF talent.

I'm the opposite. I feel like the talent level is falling each year. By my stupid rating system, this is the worst top-level talent, hitting and pitching, since I started tracking this stuff.

I'm at 9 and 10, which is nice because I think there's a big drop off around 14-15, but bad because there's an even bigger drop around #5.

This has me cursing the heavens.

I see 4 guys that I think will be legitimate stars. Then two more guys that might become solid players.

My team just had to have a good June.

But, if the first 4 or 5 teams don't pick starting pitchers, I think they deserve a solid smack in the face. There are 4 really good arms there. Of course, if someone wants to be the outlier, I'll gladly take one of those starters. Just let them fall.

I guess its just unusual for my scout to detect this many IF's. Pitchers are "solid" and in good amount, but lacking true impact pitchers. About as bad as we've seen in terms of 1B, OF. (THANK GOD!)

Lots of solid players. Maybe not as many superstars as people would like.

Ah, yes, the return of scouts with varying opinions. My scout sees 4 pitchers that I think have Top 20 talent.

Of course how OSA ranks players is different than how I see them so I usually ignore that.

Seriously - I have 9 guys in the entire draft that my scout - in his description - gives at least an average regular major league grade.

Outside of that, I get "could be an average hitter if he..." or "minor league journeyman" or "spot starter or journeyman" or "could be a 5th starter if he tightens up his arsenal."

                9 guys!

In fact... just based off of my scouts auto draft list...

The #6 prospect: "Borderline talent right now."
The #7 prospect: "Maybe a platoon in the bigs."
The #9 prospect: "Doesn't really have the goods. It's hard to project success..."
The #11 prospect: "Not a guy who has any business pitching for a contender."
The #12 prospect: "Not seeing any great amount of potential here."

I mean... Top 12 guys are AAAA talent?

Sounds like you want to trade your pick.

Seems every draft my scout says that in the first round. My scout is becoming a cranky old man. Might be time for him to retire.
