I agree with Tom on Er....that's why I traded him.
Pagan, mixed reviews on Pat picking him up. Yes, he had a good game last sim. Yes, he had good games last year (including one in the playoffs). But he kills my bullpen. I thought about pulling him back after the good game, but figured no one would claim him anyways. Knowing my luck, I'd keep him, he'd suck, and then I'm stuck with him all year. Would've loved to get something for him, but I think I would've gotten a 3rd or 4th at the most, so I'm just glad to be done with him at this point. I'm trying Ureste at SP, so we'll see how that experiment goes. I figure he can't be any worse than Pagan!Dallas Snappers

9-3 overall (4-2 week) and we still are looking pretty good through the first two weeks of the season. As a team we hit a shade under .300 for the week to go along with a blistering .380 team OBP.
Notes:
-Kazuyoshi Maekawa continues to silence his critics as the kid has started off the season where he left off last year. Hitting .340 through the first two weeks, he's earned his position at the top of the order ahead of speedy center fielder, Ernie Bornstein.
-Geoff Scott has defied the odds as well, staying healthy for at least the first two weeks of the season. Like most lefties, he seems to like it in Baltimore, hitting .361 with a .455 OBP. The big if will be how long can he play without injury because we all know it will come eventually.
-Ignado Sanchez has played magnificently through his first 3 starts. With 21 K and just 2 BB, Sanchez is 3-0 with a 1.90 ERA.
-The biggest surprise has come from infielder, Brad Antell. Antell was on the trade block earlier this season, but with no suitors for Hawaii's first son, has played much better than expected going 16/33 in place of the injured Everado Gremades at 1B. He has earned a chance to play and with his versatility in the infield, he'll see AB's as long as he's hot.
I'm so surprised at our pitching. Baltimore has the best ERA in the BLB and as it has been said, hasn't played a road game yet. Sure its a small sample size, but that is still rather impressive in the one of league's most hitter friendly parks.Last edited by Delandis; 08-02-2012, 08:30 AM.
