JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS POST OF THE DAY: Based on 7 days of AAA experience, TJ "Speedo" Knudson is just about ready to come out of the oven at 21. Barajas and Gill need to get their shit together or "Lil Logo" will be coming East.

Ughhh...we are trapped in the land of mediocre. Our SP used to be our strength but age killed Castre, and that CEI killed Gonzalez. Going from 4 arms to 2 arms will destroy any team. That was a heck of trade back in the day bringing them from Carolina and those two turned this franchise around.

Waiver wise I mistakenly put Erickson on waivers to give Burgess a chance and his 18.00 ERA hasn't disappointed me. Then Maine stole Erickson so I hope his arm falls off.

On the offensive side we have no offense. Losing Wouters (thanks CEI #2) and having 3 OF's who can't hit the ball more than 250 feet hurts.

Water finds its level. You and I both started slow last season too. Where were we in October?

You won a championship, Matt got a second round exit. It does look like its Baltimore's division now, but only based on last season, NOT two weeks of the 98 unless we all think Windy City keeps scoring at 7.3 runs a clip!

We're awarding the division to a team who hasn't even played a road game yet?

Not at all. Its way to early. (see note about just week 2) Saying last season Batlimore took the division. I don't see why it won't happen again.

Batavia still can take the wildcard. Its just not a slam dunk for them this year like years past (Not trying to be insulting)

Oh, they'll get their first real road test of the season as they head to that hornets' nest that is Philly, believe you me.

We get a full meal test this coming sim. Gaston is hitting .615 when leading off. Problem is of course losing his rbi potential. He is also on a 25 game hit streak.

I almost dealt Buckner. The current IL hitting leader. He is such a solid all around player.

RF is Robby Banks position to lose. He is a smart player and a fine fielder with a great arm.

Wally Robinson was forced to play SS starting in 96. He commited 25 errors. He stuck with it and is now an above average SS and can hit as well.

Pitching is better than the numbers show. Windy City is just crushing everything been thrown at them.

I believe we have a lot better depth then in previous years , which hopefully will translate to wins. Also it seems fans are starting to show up in good numbers.

If only you had a legit lead off hitter like Windy City for Gaston to drive in.

Thank goodness for the minor leagues. Lots of good stuff happening... our lot of top 100 pitchers- Aten, Skinner, Dugan, Reber - all pitched well, although Aten is giving me some major concerns with his control after his last injury... but Skinner, Dugan, and Reber made me feel warm and fuzzy.

Last years #2, "roo" Luna had a nice week in A ball as well.

On the BLB front, we are horrible. That's all.

Also, that Er trade was a steal for WC. On a Pat like level.
