              Wow, I voted for 5 players. By far the most I've done since joining.

              Personally I think the shortstops are being short changed. 6 allstars appearances and multi DWI awards should not be overlooked especially playing a injury prone position that wears the players down and shortens they're careers.

                          I do think the SS deserves considertion with a .309 average multiple DWI and all-star appearances.

                            You guys are talking about Sanchez?

                            He was a great player . . . when he was healthy.

                            In a 17 year career, he played 136 games or more just eight times. And that's using a generous cutoff. He played 150 games or more five times in 17 years.

                            He produced, yes, but at some point, you have to be able to stay on the field. It's not as if he was transcendentally good.

                            As for Delarruz, how many great years did he actually have? He had several very good ones.
