  • FIRST SIM COMPLETE

First sim has been completed, but there were some issues. Everything seemed to work except FA signings. I'm not sure if this is a problem with minor league contracts, or if it just doesn't work as advertised. I'll test this more tomorrow and let you know the solution. It might involve doing FA signings on the forums as originally planned. Other notes:

    - Please check your teams to make sure all other changes took effect.

    - Pawtucket and Hartford might notice some weird transactions with the players they DFA'd. Basically because the sim was longer than normal, the Waivers and DFA rules didn't work correctly. I readded them to DFA so you'll need to make a decision to sign them or outright release them.

    - All but 3 teams exported. :D

Like you said, everything on my team looks kosher except the FA signings didn't take effect.

Ok, I just tested this by having two teams attempt to sign the same guy to a minor league contract, and it worked. I have no clue what could have caused this to not work in the first sim.

              Please see this post: http://ootp.oldredboat.com/modules.p...iewtopic&t=107

I apologize for the inconvenience. This is going to be a little bit of a work in progress for now, which is why I scheduled 3 sims before the regular season.

Minor league rosters shouldn't be an issue during Spring Training, since they don't play ST games.

It's hard to believe we're still going. What a shit show it was trying to get things working in the first few versions of OOTP we used. The BLB and OOTP have come a long way in the last 10 years.

I remember. It's night and day.

I also remember that time we had to put the league on hiatus because we were switching versions and lost all the history, and Markus swooped in to save our asses.

I think Clay was making sure he could still edit injury tendencies.
