I was looking to spend more than that but got beat out. We've had 6 straight winning seasons and have earned big baller status.

My philosophy is this. No one is going to win besides Virginia so I'm no longer trading young pieces/draft picks...so I'm just gonna buy guys. I wish there was still a power hitting OF around...I would pay him another $9m to knock some more home runs.

McGuire hit 4 already in ST. He could hit 30 easy.

I love when people think spring training stats mean something.

Tell that to Clay and Chavez's 1.[it's ridiculously high] OPS.

Also it's quite obvious that Rodrigo Cameira is the real deal. Obviously.

And did you see Troy Clark pitched 0.2 innings and struck out both hitters. He's gonna have like 900 Ks this year.

Wow, I totally thought there was a sim today. This is a real downer.

Anyone want to pass the time by making a trade?

I think for next season we should run spring training back to back days, then start the regular season.

Overall though, the offseason was pretty brisk. I'd rate it a solid B for speed.

At first, I couldn't understand why Clay thought I was the preseason champ. But now that I see Scott's OPS up there with Chavez, I'd be worried too.

Clay did real good. It's a smart move to give us the weekend to plan for opening day rosters. With back-to-back ST sim, we only have one empty day to set our rosters.

                      It's a very important sim.

Just do it all in one sim then. Then you have the two days to set your lineups.

Look at his limited action last season. He was hell on lefties. Even won a player of the week award
