Wow, I offered Christian Rodriguez four years of stability and financial bumps. Instead he takes piss change and automatic renewals?

Things are really that bad in Denver.

I can't think of the last time I had anyone sign in FA sim one.

Romano Gonzalez gives me a much needed lefty RP and Don Leonard/Art Casey are probably my two best SPs.

Don't feel bad - he'll probably suck. But you know how I love international guys.

Nice pickup in Washington with Art Casey. He wanted a mountain of money to resign with me and I tried to let him go to FA and sign him on the cheap, but that didn't work out well. He's a useful guy.

            NEW LEAGUE FILE IS OUT.

            I STRONGLY SUGGEST GETTING IT.

However, if you already got the 1p version, you're probably fine since the date didn't change.

He won't suck. For the money, he's gonna be a steal. Book it.

I gave him exactly what you offered him (so he can play a year in AAA), plus three more years of bumps to equal his time in the BLB level.

Apparently, he believes he can make more from three years of automatic renewal.

              Sucker.

It'll be interesting to see if the international guys that don't retire before FA all become studs... or if I only got lucky with Betts.

I'll be watching Canudo and Rodriguez intently.

There was no BETTS in this crop.

My new scout has similar ratings on Canudo that my old one had on Betts.

I think he will fit in well with my park too. His low movement will be negated by my low HR%.

Baltimore signs former BLB pitching greats, Dealba and Nathan as our new scouting director and Single A pitching coach. On these two signings alone, I would consider this off- season a success.

LA signed Venzuelan sensation, C Diogu Canudo. Our scout thinks this kid is going to be a superstar. He has great fielding potential as a catcher or IF positions. If he develops properly, he could be our future 3B since catcher is already filled by his fellow countryman, Victor Alvarez. We don't have any top draft slots so we will roll the bones with the International kids.

My scout loved Canudo last sim, so I offered him a deal. It was less than he wanted, but I wasn't sold. I also asked for a rescout from my scout, and his ratings dropped pretty significantly today. Still looks like a good contact/doubles guy though.

I didn't have a scout so I have no idea how good he is.
