I knew better than to go against Clay but it looks like someone else beat me to the scout I wanted.

I stayed away from the all "legendary" scouts because they favored tools or ability. My last scout was all legendary, but favored ability, and I never felt like I was getting a good read on guys because of it.

But it looks like I took Delandis' guy, so I've got that going for me.

When you stop winning is when it stops being clever.

Sorry, should have put a smiley face I guess? Or a winky? Get over it. It was a joke.

Not realizing my scout was on a different page than my coaches I was shocked to see my guy became a FA and refused to sign in Batavia.

Good thing we got his twin in Joe Huber. He wanted $420...we gave him $800 over 5 years. This money thing works out great.

                    Yep.

There was no way could have afforded that before now.

                      Big extensions this SIM.

The Gordinhio deal is a monster. Like that kid... but I'm out of the $10.0+ for Saves game. This league is so bullpen rich these days.

I'm gonna take Matt's place as the small market voice.

Actually, I've always supported them. No one ever remembers that Denver is poor.

Typical old money looking down on new money.

Maeda takes home his 3rd DWI Award (2nd at 3B) his first since 1992.

RF Pancho Barajas also takes home a DWI. With Jerry Daly taking a small step back defensively since his elbow injury last season, rumors out of Williamsburg have Barajas and Daly switching places in the OF next season. With TJ "Don't Call Me Speedo" Knudson still a couple seasons away... Daly will start his move to the corner a little early.

                              Sorry but that was Dave.

Man it feels good to burst Syracuse's dreams every now and then. And, I'm pretty sure Denver lives vicariously through this post.
