    *OFFICIAL* 1997-98 Off-Season Schedule

    (At this point I'm calling this a proposal... if no one has major conflicts, we'll make it official shortly)

    FRIDAY - JULY 13th - Offseason 1 - Accept/Decline Options to Pre Arbitration
    SUNDAY - JULY 15th - Offseason 2 - Pre Arbitration to Rule 5 Draft
    MONDAY - JULY 16th - Offseason 3 - Rule 5 Draft to January 1 NO FILES WILL BE IMPORTED

    NOTE: This will essentially give people 24 hours to get RULE V lists turned into me. No reason to bog down the league on this SIM.

    WEDNESDAY - JULY 18th - Free Agency 1 (16 days)
    FRIDAY - JULY 20th - Free Agency 2 (16 days)
    SUNDAY - JULY 22th - Free Agency 3 (16 days)
    TUESDAY - JULY 24th - Free Agency 4 (16 days or till ST)

    WEDNESDAY - JULY 25th - Spring Training 1
    FRIDAY - JULY 27th - Spring Training 2

    MONDAY - JULY 30th - Opening Day

    This would knock out the entire off-season in less than 2.5 weeks.

    Is this too fast for anyone?

    Any conflicts?

    It's rapid, so people would need to be proactive about off-season activities like votes, proposals, etc.

    My opinion shouldn't matter since I would be ok with 2 SIMs each day, but this looks good to me.

          This isn't really that fast. With the weak FA class and half the league selling players and the other half with no money, I don't see why this we aren't in ST by Monday.

            I'm fine with this. Shit I'd be fine with every day sims in the offseason like we do in NCFA.

                              I don't think that's true at all. Pretty sure the pecking order went Anchorage. Portland, Kalispel and then Washington.
