I offered Betts a contract. Linty offered like three times my contract. He took the gamble and won. I like the kid.

I think he's gonna make guys really battle for international free agents and none will probably end up as good as Betts.

He got one of my votes. Duarte did not.

I prefer people not discuss who is leading voting categories in this thread (unless you SPOILER TAG it). I'd just hate to see ballots influenced by that type of information. Not saying it would... not saying it does.... just saying.

I love people discussing their personal ballot.... but I'd prefer no updates on the status of the voting.

You're still mad about Dimmick, right?

Damn. He plays for you? Honestly didn't notice when voting.

I opted not to vote for him because I liked Keifer most and Betts had a better OPS and VORP. I found it curious that Duarte had these amazing run producing numbers but fell behind elsewhere.

Also I liked taking the shortstop as the third vote because he played great defense and had the highest VORP. The defense off set the trade off in VORP and OPS (which Duarte outlasts him in).

Not to say others blindly voted or that Duarte isn't deserving of a vote. He's probably gonna be special. It was just the other things.

He was actually part of the Dimmick deal.

I dislike you for finishing second with a POS squad.

I have now voted. Thank you to whoever it was that gave Hamilton that first place vote. It's appreciated and will surely grant you good karma in the coming seasons.

Well, if you're not first, you're last. In this case, that holds true.

Only one voter left (Spear... who is out till today or tomorrow)...

Most of the races are decided. A couple of the finishing orders COULD be influenced by Spear's vote, but, for the most part, the winners are locked in.

                              Congrats to all.
