Two man race IMO... with a 3rd guy who you can make a great case for, but, at least by my criteria, doesn't have deep enough skill-set.

I think that 3rd person can impact the game in a way that neither of those two can (at least this year) even if he doesn't have the all-around game that those two have.

Its all about what you value as a voter.

As is always the case. It's really personal preference too and how deep you want to dig.

I think I'm a strong candidate for J. Allen Wright. I'm proud of how well my team competed despite all the injuries.

The fact that you've posted a lot less this season has really helped your case in my eyes.

True, but you can make the same case for Dave. He was a shoe in for the award until RJ. Curtis went down. Wilmington won 84 games and he kept losing everyone.

That one injury to Curtis is worth at least 7-10 of your injuries.

And I mean no disrespect at all.

Yes and no. Curtis was huge and definitely cost NO the playoffs and possibly the division, but Maine had so many starters go down that it might balance out in the end. They did manage to finish 4 games over .500 despite everything.

Wilmington had a nice season too, but I think the IL was a little lighter on middle tier quality teams.

I hear you, but if Curtis is a 7-win player, losing him when they did cost New Orleans about four wins.

Losing Scott, a 4-win player, matches those four wins right there.

That's not counting the other 27 injuries.

Agree on losing all those players suck, but your team never really got in a groove this season as in the case New Orleans was on flat out cruise.

Also Scott and Tino.....lets just say aren't Scott and Tino of old. Older teams also tend to get hurt more.

                            That aside, good season.

Duarte already leading in ROY voting?

C'mon guys Maekawa has a much better WAR. Two full games plus he can play anywhere in the infield well, not tucked away in right.

Do the right thing thing and give Maekawa the trophy he has earned.
