Or they'll call them up a week into September so they can stay up when rosters expand and the guys they replaced come back from the DL.
It's a tricky thing and honestly I would have missed it too. It's a juggle between surrendering option years and service time for playoff eligibility.
I don't know how the game handles emergency situations like the one that allowed the Angels to add Francisco Rodriguez to the playoff roster because of an injury despite him only being on the active roster after September 1st.

If you go to your active roster and select the menu for the player you want to promote, there is an option to "add to playoff roster."

***I'm tossing out the "Batavia matches up well" with the recent CEI.
***Carolina is too banged up.
***That Torres/ Tucker combo might cause Dallas fits.
***As long as Hartford gets on top of Los Lunas in the early innings, they should be fine.Last edited by funclown; 07-03-2012, 03:06 PM.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

So, if I leave someone off the playoff roster for this round, are they done for the playoffs, or is this editable again between rounds? Would I need another injury (likely) to make a switch? It probably won't matter since my team will be done in short order, but I'm curious since Faulkner isn't going to be available for most of this series, though I'd obviously like to have him if we're still around when he's healthy.
I guess I can just leave him on anyway, we probably won't need to go that deep into the OF depth chart.Washington Bats, 2013-
