Hey... draft and sign healthier players. Boo Hoo.

Or they'll call them up a week into September so they can stay up when rosters expand and the guys they replaced come back from the DL.

It's a tricky thing and honestly I would have missed it too. It's a juggle between surrendering option years and service time for playoff eligibility.

I don't know how the game handles emergency situations like the one that allowed the Angels to add Francisco Rodriguez to the playoff roster because of an injury despite him only being on the active roster after September 1st.

Oh well. I should have called up Burns and Brown then. At least then I'd have that to watch.

Well from what I'm reading we are supposed to be able to add someone as long as they are on they are put on the 60-day DL after 9/1 or on the 15-day DL during the playoffs.

          I got it Liquid.

If you go to your active roster and select the menu for the player you want to promote, there is an option to "add to playoff roster."

Just make sure your injured guys are switched to the 60-day DL and removed from the playoff roster.

Thanks. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but it seems the game will let me put anyone I want on the playoff roster.

It'll certainly allow me to put together a full team. Thanks again.

So, if I leave someone off the playoff roster for this round, are they done for the playoffs, or is this editable again between rounds? Would I need another injury (likely) to make a switch? It probably won't matter since my team will be done in short order, but I'm curious since Faulkner isn't going to be available for most of this series, though I'd obviously like to have him if we're still around when he's healthy.

I guess I can just leave him on anyway, we probably won't need to go that deep into the OF depth chart.
