The Bulld$gs now have multiple players higher paid than the highest little ol Muckdog. I'd be in 1st as well if I could throw money around to Shitty, Kubota, and Rex.
BTW, you forgot to add Guinane.

He never played an inning for me. Nickell was on some long ass injury in 89 when I showed and traded him. Looked like a great hitter for a few seasons, but that contract was crazy(7 year, 84 million).

the injuries keep piling up. After the first half of the season where we had no injuries thay all piled about after the all-star break. I cant get this team back on track no matter how hard I try. We are 20-41 since the break losing our starting...

          -Two middling MR's
-Best RP not named Adrian Diaz

I know many others in theis league have dealt with a number of injuries so this is not woe is me. More like I feel your guys pain and I realize how devistating it can be to your season.

On a lighter note in '96 my A team won the title and now in '97 my AA team won the title. Here's to hoping those wins continue up the chain.

Offensively, this has got to be one of the worst years ever for a DL New Brew candidates.

So whats the moral standing on dropping contracts? I'm talking about Nago here. He's owed $8MM or something next year, but there's no chance he plays for us.

Will I be jeered? Spoken ill of by The Committee? Someone tell me how to feel about myself!

Will you still be in the black? If so, buy him out.

I'll have to check. What's our official calculation for this, for those that weren't paying attention before...

So it looks like our projected final balance for this year is -$9.355MM. That doesn't seem like a good thing.

You could cut him at the beginning of the off-season and take the whole year to work yourself back into the black. But, again, while I'd strongly discourage knowingly going deeper into the red... there is still technically no rule against it.

It's all good, just seeing where we were rules/morality wise.

Right, but no one wants to be like Pat.
