Can we get 4 SIMs in next week to go ahead and close out the regular season? I shudder to think of waiting around all weekend until the following Monday for what may well be the most anticlimatic final regular SIM in league history.
Just sim the rest of the most boring season in BLB history.

        Yes...fair play.

I bet the council meets on this one.

Not worth it. Edited it's still 13 months. What a shame. He was moving to 1B next year too.

Oh well. Another promising year ending badly.

Still worth having your player in 2000.

4-3 week. We just can't shake NO! Yeah, there is a decent gap but that means nothing in this division. So, no real change here. The hitting is decent, the pitching in terrible (with exception to Torres and Tucker). I still stand by my trade for Tucker because there is no way we go to the playoffs without him. Even if we did, it would probably be 5 and out.

Not gonna pay him $11m to sit on the bench next year then become a FA. And until another team gets a CEI I don't wanna hear about injuries. It killed Gonz and it killed my power hitter. I wonder if I should have sent him to the minors for rehab...anyone done that yet?

You're not the first and only team. I've had my share of CEIs too and one completely ruined a Top 100 Prospect.

Not the first and only to get CEI. I've probably had to "fix" a dozen in the last 5 seasons. You would be the first to opt not to "resurrect" him.

It's a good strategy considering he owes the guy money.

But, it still sucks to lose the guy in the league. What kind of doctor refuses to treat his personnel?!

I'm gonna Joe Maddon this right now and say no one - I mean no one! - will want to play for Matt's team anymore. Good luck signing free agents, dick!

Took three of four at Pittsburgh, after somehow getting swept at home by Pawtucket in a three-game series. That hurts.

We have a pair of two-game sets at Pawtucket and Hartford, then a three game series at home against Indianapolis.

One of our few good draft picks in the early years. Sad to see him go out like that.

Maybe someone wants the player and can ask Clay to revive him for their own use?

OR maybe Clay revives him, leaves the injury on, and places him in Free Agency. Though that somehow seems like a loop hole being used.

I just don't like the idea of a guy being gone for good when we have a system in place to revive them.

Well, I'm giving Pat the benefit of the doubt (for now)... however.... I am keeping an eye on it... as I do all teams who go on epic losing streaks late. Sitting Mike Murdock every other day seems a little shaky, but again, as bad as the Bats are... they are probably playing a lot of their ever expanding AAAA roster while searching out the next great long-term injury to sign.
