Credit where credit is due... No one tanks like the Bats. 16 in a row is damn near impossible.

It must be the new month because Chad Sinclair hit 4 home runs last sim. Oh, OOTP, how predictable can you be?

            More on Sinclair.

With his 28th home run, he moves into a tie for 7th most home runs in a season by a Denver player. The Bulls haven't historically been a home run hitting team. Only three players ever hit 30+ in a season. Pedro Zamarida (34, most in franchise history), Frank Hamlet (33), and Toby Rochester (32).

Sinclair is now two home runs away from joining the Denver 30 HR Club, and has an outside chance of sneaking by Zamarida for most in a season, assuming he has the type of month I expect OOTP will let him have.

Pawtucket 4-3 road trip. 7 games from the wildcard?

Love the sweep of Maine. Looks like Hartford has decided not to rest his starters, but hey got one win.

I've actually enjoyed this group of kids. Not as talented, but they battle.

It's a shame that Betts didn't respond to full-time. I like this kid. Cali feels like they should be better.

When someone is fragile, they are fragile.

Gerard had a pitch count of 15. He pitched in the pen.

Didn't stop him from suffering such a devastating injury. Glad to know his broken arm will eat $2-4 MM for the next four years.

Maybe. The point is Cali can hit. They also have three top flight Pitching Prospects. If they flipped one of them for a BLB ready Ace (they're always out there) and paid for another (he has the money) he'd be in the junt.

That being said, its all my opinion and, as I've said before, I love how Linty runs his team/ORG so I have faith that they'll be ready wehen they're ready. Just making the point that they feel like they have playoff level offense.

That Wouters injury is just brutal. I'll ask again: I thought we turned CEI off, no? This wasn't even the case of a setback, this was straight-up delayed diagnosis.

CEIs still exist. But they are edited to the longest non-CEI duration for the specific injury.

Gotta drop it into the commish to do thread.

Dallas wraps up the Pilsner . . . in the first week of September.

Can we get 4 SIMs in next week to go ahead and close out the regular season? I shudder to think of waiting around all weekend until the following Monday for what may well be the most anticlimatic final regular SIM in league history.
