I don't understand how they calculate that for a team. Individually, I have the best defenders by that measure.

You checked every team's player's individual defensive efficiency?

No, but my individual players are better than Jistic's, and he's ranked #1 by that measure as a team.

I love the Nago deal still. It was all about the contract.

The Powell deal didn't cost me much at all...and he's been solid in triple-a...but that control is never going to come.

I hear that happens a lot once you start hitting your late sixties.

I guess it's hitting him a little late.

Stevens Takes Out Frustrations on Locker, Suffers Consequences

Tuesday, August 26th, 1997: After suffering through yet another heartbreaking loss, Indianapolis starting pitcher Willie Stevens took his frustration out in the clubhouse. At first, Stevens expressed his rage by shouting loudly and overturning a water cooler. However, the tantrum took a particularly ugly turn when Stevens decided to take his anger out on his locker. "He unleashed a couple swift jabs to the metal door, then I saw him clutching his hand and wincing," said teammate Manny Rodríguez. "I knew right then he'd hurt himself pretty bad." X-rays confirmed that Stevens had in fact fractured his hand. "He's gonna be out for at least a month," said manager Cisco Thamas. "He really needs to learn to control his anger. Not having him available is gonna be a major setback for our team." The team will explore free agent and trade options, but may be forced to fill Stevens's position internally.

Like I said, we've made small deals. Personally I think you've been fair.

The Portland Pride (DAV-AAA) has a +17 PYT. They are 46-82.

You don't even have to do the math. They were expected to be 29-99.

                        He's a joke.

Easily my worst first round pick. With others it came down to injuries destroying their careers. Stevens was just a bum.

Yeah, I wouldn't call this a major setback. What a Clown injury, bro.

3-3 as I expected. Virginia tried to give us the last game but my Kubota wouldn't take it. Colt looked good in his first week, he is definitely deadly against lefties. Our pitching continues to grow up right before our eyes and is the main reason we didn't make one more deadline trade for starting pitching.

We don't have enough horses to take down Virginia, but I think it was the best decision for continued long term success.

My apologies to HAR, PIT, WAS and especially PAW. Didn't get my laptop back from I/T until late this afternoon (and it's still not right). I got doubly screwed, and I don't mean that in the good way. Not only did I not complete a trade, but I had planned on calling up at least one, possibly two players so they would be eligible for the playoff roster (if Hell happens to freeze over).

Oh, and the bonus?... He deleted OOTP 12 without first releasing the license. Does anyone know how to get back a license when this happens?
