Goodness, this is the worst season I've had... fitting that Indy and I are among the worst in the league having come into the league at the same time :)

Looks like Daly lost a step. He's only going for 60 SB this year.

1997...the worst season in D.C. since 1980....maybe the worst All-Time.

I'm officially waving the white flag. Wow. I really thought this team had a stretch run in them. Check out the waiver thread. There are plenty of easily available Bats remaining.

Now we go into "Next Year Mode." Or even, "Competitive Tanking." Some youngsters will get some at bats. Some players headed towards for Free-Agency or players without guaranteed contracts next year, could be waived/cut entirely.

The Washington franchise has only finished sub .500 one year, 1980, when the Bats went 72-90 in their third year in the league. This team is on pace for a better finish but it will probably come right down to the wire. My owner expects us to win the championship and we are going to have the worst season ever? Should be interesting to see what happens to my budget now.
            Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
            Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
            Washington Bats - 1979-2013

I don't use my prayers on Baltimore unless it's for a 6th season of The Wire.

He's hitting #3 a lot this season. Asking him to do a few different things.

I was surprised when Pat called off the trade block and resigned everyone...being 11 back...but I figured good for him. Now the dream has been crushed.
