Dammit..where's my ass hat? My bad, I meant to demote/release a few guys.

BTW, thanks for still getting it up early. I have to head to work early and its nice to be able to catch a couple games before I head out.

I have a 10K on Sunday, so I'm running in the early AM before it gets hot (humid) here. So... I'm up anyway. Plus, I like knocking out the SIMs first thing.

Injuries in 3 straight SIMs. I hate my new Team Doc.

BTW - RIP to the DENVER OWNER... that team would have killed me too.

Another injury. Naturally. Down goes my #2 starter Bollati for the rest of the season.

              4-2. Won both series.

Chris Garcia has been great for us since being claimed off waivers from Windy City. Not sure how else to describe his performance.

Alejandro Rodriguez hasn't allowed a run in 15 appearances and is anchoring our middle relief.

Tufts continues to be on fire raising his average to .301. Garcia continues to be his steady self. Won't ever hit for .300, but I'll take what he does .260-.270 at his contract. He seems to have a knack for driving in runs no matter where he's in the lineup.

Unfortunately, Sinclair is slumping hard in the second half. Can't remember the last time he hit a home run or even had a good week.

With so many catchers that can hit in our system, I've begun the process of transitioning a few. Vazquez is going to play more 2B. He's got some range and a good arm, but will need time to develop experience there.

With Chatfield doing a good job with the bat (thank you Syracuse), I signed him to a two-year extension and have decided that our top prospect Carmen Roes will simply be a DH. He can't field a lick.

That means Sinclair will be moving back to LF probably next season. It depends on how soon I decide to call up Roes. It's possible he'll get his cup of coffee in September. Not sure.

He died an angry man. I wish I could have done more for the guy.

Denver will probably raise a banner in his name. We may retire the #0 in honor of the many championships we won during his tenure as owner.

Pawtucket 5-1, against two divisional leaders. Second sweep on the road against Dallas??? We beat Dimmik & Torres.

Ummm, 8 games out of the wildcard. This team is completely Bi-Polar

Guys, patience. I wanted to give him a separate mention.

It's what he deserves, what with all the drinking alone he did.

Is it September yet? I'm ready for callups.

2B Dave Ritchason has his second good week in a row. He's very important to this thing going forward so we're a bit excited that he's showing some growth at the BLB level. Excellent defender at the 2B position and maybe, just maybe enough of a bat to be a solid every day regular.

So... ummmmm... Rex Morgan is on a bit of a tear. Close to 2.000 OPS in August. Davenport should be so much better.

My revenge comes next month... why the sales deparment decided to do a mini-broom promotion is beyond me.

3-3 like I expected. I just thought it would be Hartford that won a series, not Pawtucket. I hate that whacked out righty only stadium of his.

O'Hegarty...gotta love this guy. He went on a hot streak from 4 at bats.
