Gerard.
That worked out well.
Luckily it's minor.

Oh well. Just sucks because I labored over those cuts.
EDIT:
The plot thickens... I just opened the game and I appear to have lost the previous sim download as well. What the hell?Last edited by Gyrodork; 05-30-2012, 09:03 PM.

Not our best sim as we lose both series. Just our second home series loss of the year came against Batavia, then Washington takes 2 from us as well. We are far too inconsistent for my liking, just from game to game I have no idea who is going to hit well or pitch. Of course, Jose Guzman seems unaffected by any of this, as he continues to do his best Doorbell impersonation closing in on age 40.
First round pick SS Ruben Velasquez hit .400 in his first week in A ball, but he got a little banged up and has to sit for 4 days. No big deal, but hopefully not the start of a trend.
Now we get to go to Baltimore and host the Colonials. Hopefully we'll do ok, if not then we stagger into the All-Star break.Last edited by liquidcrash; 05-30-2012, 10:55 PM.Washington Bats, 2013-

A 4-2 week finishes off a 19-7 month as we finally shake off the cobwebs and tie up those pesky Bulldogs for 1st in the Porter. It has been nice to see our "playoff odds" climb from 3% to 97% during June. Not bad considering Ednams and Wouters are both out with injuries. Not like they've done too much the 1st half of the year though as they are hitting .250 and .246 respectively. All though to be fair Wouters leads the team with 14 HR's.
Our bullpen is still in complete disarray and pretty soon we are just going to have our starters pitch 6.5, bring Petro in for 1.5, and Bayer in for the 9th. They all have decent ratings accordingly to my scout and have played well in the past...but man they are sucking it up so far as their ERA is 10th in the IL.
On the plus side we called up Elijah Hanson from AAA and so far he's hitting .324/.359/.486 with 1 HR and 7 RBI's in 10 games. He can play all three outfield positions and is dangerous on the base paths. He was a 9th round pick in '92 and has slowly worked his way up the system.
Combine him with FA pickup C Pete Miller who racked up a nice line of .588/.708/1.176 this last week and our offense is finally clicking. Jarava is also picking it up and after starting off the season hitting .171 is now approaching .300. We will have some shuffling to do post All-Star break with some guys coming back from injury but for now we are enjoying the depth the backups are providing.
