  • SIM COMPLETE - 1997 - SIM 10

NEXT SIM: Monday AM (Time kind of up in the air because of holiday... but due by 7a)

    ***

    DRAFT IS IN!!!!

Let me know errors I made.

NOTE: Baltimore and Los Lunas each got an extra guy because of late SAMMY PICKS being added. Their names are MAYO and CASWELL. I left them on your teams to give you the option to keep them... but they were just randoms.

    ***

The SINGLE A Rosters are open to 40 guys until Wednesday. In a nutshell, when you export for WEDNESDAY'S SIM... you MUST be at 25 guys.

    All-Star Info Coming....

    To many rings to count...

Go JJ Caplan. Top hitter in the draft. Nobody else on the top 100 but they are close as they are right up there in my org lists. Can't wait to see him in 2005!

Sucks. That game did end up being a serious Pitcher's Duel anyway.

I noticed while entering the draft that Syracuse used a 10th Rounder on T.J. Shaver. First Shaver in BLB History. Good gamble there.

                    Wessin Ramirez picks up the IL POTW award (.478 | .552 | 1.000; 4 HR | 10 RBI).

We signed Johnny Buzzell. He can't play anymore, but he was worth a 7-8 pt bump in Fan Interest, plus I always wanted to see him in a Freedom uni.

P Willie Castellanos (1.8 in this year's draft) debuts at #36 on the top prospect list. He'll start out at AA.

Man....that is really a kick in the nuts. 7-0 with a 1.10 ERA in his last 10 starts. I don't see how we continue to contend without him, given the rest of our staff and given the fact that we were already struggling to make ends meet at the back end of our rotation.

And our top draft pick debuts at #67 and everyone else apparently sucks. Best sim ever.

3-3 against the best in the DL so I'm good. It feels good to finally have a pitching staff that is adequate enough to keep us in games when our batters arent doing too well.

I wanted a 3-3 SIM and I got it. I didn't expect to take a series against Carolina, but winning one is a victory in itself. Also, Chad Sinclair continued his "He's Arrived" Tour by showing the fans there what he's about.

Took 2 of 3 against Davenport.

All in all, I'm satisfied with the sim.

Melson keeps on hitting (to my surprise. I mean I like the kid, but I don't expect this to keep up). Sinclair is finally healthy and capable of proving me right that he's definitely going to make some noise in the HR ranks.

Victor Garcia has awoke from his slumber. Good to see him swinging away, getting things started. Pancho Alvarez is also having a fine month.

Team is on the upswing while everyone else in the Pilsner is trending down. Let's see if OOTP will allow this to sustain a period longer than 30 days.
