Kid showed "improvement", then in a rare case actually produced.

Jim/ Umd, Just get me one kid in like I always did when helping selecting

Our players' numbers speak for themselves. Pimping is for players who don't truly deserve the honor.

SP - Raul Gonzalez - 7-1 2.17 ERA 0.98 WHIP 21.05 VORP - He should get in again. Having another great season as our ace.

MR/CL - Mac Aaron - 3-1 1 SV 0.91 ERA 0.73 WHIP 27 G 40 IP 18.4 VORP - guy has been lights out working out of the middle of our pen. Definitely my most versatile bullpen arm.

MR/Set-up - Hector Anaya - 4 SV 2.38 ERA 1.32 WHIP 27 G 34 IP 10 VORP - rock solid as our set-up/closer. Has saved/set-up quite a few games for us in big spots as Godron got off to a slow start.

2B - Chuck Durham - 10 HR 37 RBI 42 R .330/.402/.576/.978 30.2 VORP -looking like another MVP type season for Chuck. Hits for average, gets on base, scores runs. Arguably the best middle IF in the DL if not the BLB.

            LF - Amri Sau - 15 HR 55 RBI 37 R .348/.431/.674/1.104 32.4 VORP - Possibly another Stout Slugger type season like '95?

RF - Abe Hernandez - 9 HR 26 RBI 32 R .284/.385/.476/.861 15.3 VORP - back from his injury ravaged '96, Abe has been more of a jack-of-all-trades type, hitting everywhere from 2nd to 6th depending on line-ups and match-ups.

            On the Bubble:

Just a shout out to Brad Hayes who is off to a 6-1 start with a 2.76 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. Not bad for a waiver claim pick-up in April '95.
