        He should be injured.

Because I look at things through the prism of my own players.

Chad Sinclair currently has 23 doubles and 22 homeruns.

Only two players in BLB history have ever hit 40 doubles while also hitting 40 homeruns.

          Hector Carbajal in 1989 hit 44 HR, 47 2B.
Rex Morgan in 1996 is the most recent hitting 44 HR, 42 2B.

And forget Sinclair. Currently Sau and Duarte are leading the pack. Sau looks like a good pick to make it three. He already has 25 HR and 29 2B.

People: both with Syracuse... at least the majority of Rex's 96 was with Syracuse.

              Syracuse... where 40-40 happens.

Trade Sinclair to me now... there's still a chance I can get him there.

I was gonna say "The basement?"

Then I looked at the standings.

Looking back at some prospects I traded and prospects that I received. Interesting observations:

SP- Pat Powell - highest ranking was #38 from memory. This guy sucked. Never got what OSA saw in him to be honest.

SP- K.Lim #1. Sure he can close, but think its safe to say didn't live up to his hype stunted or not.

SP- Don Richmond #20 when I traded for him. Plays in the BLB, but again this guy is lucky to be playing at the major level at 29.

Then I was looking at some other pitchers:

SP- Cisco Herrera now with Indy. He still does have sometime, but ranked #38 and dominated AAA. I just don't see this happening. Sucks.

SP- Trent Green again with Indy. I almost traded for this guy a few years back. Happy I didn't. 26 and in AAA and my scout thinks is future is bleak. Was #15 at onetime.

I can go on and on, but seems its so easy to find pitchers who bomb. Hitters at a glance, if they make the top #100 you at least will get a serviceable player for a few seasons and usually the top 25 guys become studs. The pitchers seem a bit more random.

Little bored this morning, but just interesting to look at.

Possibly due to only having 3 rating zones versus 5 for batters. I also think the severe injuries hit pitchers a hell of alot more than batters. I batter might lose a pt in one part of the ratings, but figure thats 1/5 his ability. I pitcher loses a pt of 1/3 of his ability.

He did have one glorious half season for Pawtucket in 93. Then went back to being a moron.

I was so pumped when I got him too. Had he performed like he did in Denver I would've had one of the best rotations of all time...

                                Post-Season Fun Facts:

Though most of the statistical categories in the Post-Season stats are dominated by Colonials and Guides, two of the Top 3 Career Post-Season OPS (minimum 30 games) belong to players who've never worn the blue of Virginia or Maine. Who are they?
