I'll take it back. Only one was durable. TJ Cook.

I thought Jeremiah Gray was also durable, but checking now and he's actually Normal.

So, I can take it as chance happening. Things just happen.

Fatigue is absolutely a factor in sustaining an injury. However, it's not related to the "IRONMAN/DURABLE/FRAGILE" rating.

Oh yeah, I know fatigue is a factor in injury.

But, I also know (or have assumed, rather) that your rating affects how quickly you fatigue. It may be subtle, but it's no mistake to me that my most durable guy (see: Pancho Alvarez) continuously plays a large number of games on the field, rarely ever needing rest.

Either that or he's just unique in that sense.

Is Chavez going to move to first base next year?

I mean his offense lets him play pretty much anywhere, but he doesn't look like he can play shortstop too much longer.

I don't see a move from SS for at least 3 years unless I suddenly have a great option at SS come in via trade. Right now I have a crapton of 3Bs and 1Bs, but MIF (as it always is in the BLB) is slim. That being said... I'm not worried about Chavez' defense.

We split the week against Baltimore and Virginia, so I can't complain too loudly. We again got lit up by Baltimore, and just couldn't quite score enough to keep up. Against Virginia, we managed to take a game from Herrera, a rare accomplishment for us- or anyone else for that matter. We also came back to win a game in which our starter didn't get out of the first, thanks to some good hitting and really good outings from my bullpen guys. We're pretty deep in our pitching staff, with at least 3 guys in AAA who could pitch for a lot of BLB teams and do well. So that's a strength, as it was last season.

At the plate, old man Guzman continues to do his thing. I wouldn't have guessed it, but he's leading our offense so far. We need Hamilton and Deleon to pick it up, but I think it's probably just a matter of time.

In the minors, Bananas Burns continued to overwhelm AA hitting. The K's are still there (14.5 per 9), he's cut the walks down by more than half. I think he's coming up to AAA, though I hate rushing anyone when I don't think he's going to be in the BLB this season.

Does anyone know if the ground ball% on the player page is dynamic? I've never really paid attention and just assumed that it was.

Btw, these posts are from being in the lab too long with no wifi. This is what me typing on the phone looks like.

Shitty would have likely come dangerously close to breaking the all-time record for hits if it wasn't for his injury. Better luck next year.
