4-2 week, scoring 47 runs and hitting 16 HR. We are now tied for the BLB lead in runs with Baltimore and we lead the BLB in HR by a sizable margin.

    WTF is going on.

A lot of young pitchers are starting to hit their strides. It doesn't look like Pancho and then everyone else so much anymore. Pancho used to be head and shoulders above the rest, now he's probably just a head above. And I guess in reality, Dimmick is really the best pitcher in baseball at this moment.

4-2 week for us as well. We were able to take 2 of 3 from both Carolina and Los Alamos as Rex Knight has stepped up to fill the void left by the Shitty injury. Our pitching has remained slightly above average and through about a 1/5 of the season, our bats are still one of the most dangerous lineups out there right now. I can't complain, except for the fact that California is still quietly keeping pace.

            Blasphemy!!!

I think Pancho is a little slowed by the switched to the 5-man rotation, but I still think he's the best in the biz just by virtue of his ability to keep the free passes at bay. In fact, I think this week he had the most walks in a game since his injury season.

The beauty... Even a small regression from 'Fist gets off-set by the rest of my rotation really finding their stride.

Carolina is a really, really good team at home. Props.

Yeah, sorry about that. We were too busy prepping the big league squad to achieve a 2-4 record this week and we lost sight of the lower levels.

BA #1 Prospect TJ "Thank God I'm Not in Denver" Knudson finally had his "click SIM" after 2+ years in A-ball. Slow-playing HS prospects is never fun, but its so rewarding when it works. TJ had a breakout week and OSA took a new look at him. His currents jumped up to 4-4-5-4-4 and potentials boomed.

He'll be taking the westbound bus to Battle Creek (AA) in the next few weeks.

I almost commented on him a few sims back. Kid's going to be incredible. Those OSA ratings haven't been seen since... Woodbury.

I don't anticipate the 8's by the time he's ready to come out of the oven, but he should be a 6's and 7's guy (read Chavez, Maeda). I still think his rookie year is likely '00. Maybe '99 late.

Yeah, that was really a masterstroke by you, not calling him up at the age of 19 while he was hitting .227 in A-ball.

                          How DO you do it?

I was speaking more in general terms. Spending a high pick then not being able to move him even a level for 3 years is not fun. There's no skill to it. Just takes a lot of fun out of a high pick, but worth it eventually. Delayed gratification - not a strong trait here (or in any online leagues).
