Went with 1B Frank Zamora. My scout had him as the 4th best hitter in the draft and thought he'd be picked 2nd overall. I'm guessing my scout is way over rating him. Doesn't have much power for a 1b and very young but feels like a good value here. We'll see.

I'm set to auto from list because I'm heading into a meeting. As soon as BAL makes a pick mine should fire. If it doesn't I'll be back in a bit. Pretty comfortable picking between the 2 guys I have at the top of my list right now. I wish it was the 3rd rd instead of the 2nd, but what are you going to do?Philly Freedom

Very happy to get Ybarra here. Honestly, my scout doesn't think he'll be HOF talent. But I figure an 18 year old with that kind of talent at this point, will at very worst be an above average reliever.

BLB Scouts are extremely out of touch. They freely throw around HOF references, but fail to factor in that our Owners won't even vote in one of the best Closers of a generation.
We don't need an entire Hall... Maybe just like a Nook of Fame. The Great One!

We haven't drafted a catcher in a while and we're really happy to select Danny Torres there. He switch hits, plays slightly above average defense, played well against "great" competition and he's international, which means he's likely nowhere near as good as his ratings make him appear! Really excited about this pick. Here's hoping we've completely shit the bed on both our INTL picks thus far.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
