I know, but no one is ever in there and if it's attached to the draft utility itself people are much more likely to sit in there and chat while waiting for picks. It's one of the good things the OSFL has going for it, especially in recent seasons when 20+ teams are represented in the chat room the majority of the first 3 rds. Lots of chatter (locker room and trade), makes the waiting game easier.

I liked Castellanos too. MY scout had in as the #1 guy on his board. All the guys picked so far were in my top 15. MY scouts #1 hitter though is still around we will see if he is still there when I pick at 11.

Well, good. At least now when he flames out I won't look like a complete idiot since a few other guys like the pick as well.

If the BLB had as many draft trades as the OSFL, we'd have to start the draft in the off-season.

I'd never want to start so early that the feeder guys aren't playing. I'm more an injury-phob than others, but I need to see no recent injuries.

Yeah, that was a bit tongue-in-cheek. I assumed you would be against starting early just for the sake of accommodating a huge rush of trades, but yeah the injury thing can pop up too (and still can after you make a selection, it's happened to me before - Pete Burgess).

A notification system would be useful too. I think those email alerts can really keep a draft's momentum going. Sometimes guys just don't know they're on the clock. It happens. An alert comes in handy in those cases.

I think everyone should just give their number to Brad and he'll text you when its your pick. Works for me in the OSFL.

OSA doesn't think much of Stu Driscoll, but my scout loves him and he has displayed the ability to perform very well against "great" competition. There were a few other guys on the board who were surer things, but they lacked Driscoll's ceiling so I had to take a flyer.
