Alright. Somehow my home computer is offline and I can't logmein to get to my game, or my list. (Carlos, I haven't forgotten about you. I swear I'll explain that soon).

So, I hate to do this, but I'm either going to trade out of this pick or probably be about an hour away from picking. Just FYI.

My scout sees Chris Flores as having the greatest potential of any player in the draft.

I liked him a lot, but didn't want to take a MR before the amazing Danny Hernandez.

Flores is a shutdown guy who can start day 1. Well worth the #12 pick.

Can someone or something put an end to Jake's 1st rd reign of terror?

Maybe we should extend the time of the draft so someone would stop killing the momentum.

Yes, to all of the above.

I blame all of this on spot - I would have taken Flores in 2 seconds if he was still there.

As it was, we ended up going with "Mushy" Gonzalez, another great reliever prospect who isn't Flores, but more of a sure bet than anything else here.

Give the man some credit. He didn't take nearly as long as Jake did.

I liked Gonzalez too. Think there's some good relievers in this draft.

The podcast is definitely going to have an anti-eastern seaboard bias.

I agree. And in that respect, it is much like every other draft we have ever had.
